Maybe the last Christmas in NYC for me

The Christmas tree in front of Rokefellar Center in the movie is identical to what I saw today. And it has been more than 20 years since the movie came out. This is the year of Trump, of populism, of xenophobia...Would Santa be forbidden to come next year because he's foreign?

What a merry Christmas it would be if Santa were true, and were as nice as the one in this movie. And my wish for this Christmas is that I will still be living in this beautiful city the same time next year. Hey, Santa, See ya next year in the Big Apple.
