A little thought
from ep1, I thoguht he was not capable of comitting such a well organized sophisticated crime (kathie case specifically) without leaving any trails, he felt like a person who didn’t want to be bothered with details.
from ep2-ep5, the thought was reinforced. he just didnt care enough about money or fame or marriage or any emotions of humankind, ANYTHING, to kill anyone.
in ep6. he probably killed susan. i dont know about the other two. or maybe he said all that just for show. nobody knows. given the previous account, he could be a pathological liar. its reasonable for some people to believe his last confession and ignore all his previous testimony. but he also owns up to all the lying-based inconsistencies during the interview. i guess what im trying to say is that it is also somewhat reasonable to say his last confession could be fake in order to stage the climax in his big show and get attention.
he can be a high functioning sociopath like most people would susggest, and thats a high probability. but part of me cant help but wonder what if in any kind of possibility what he said before is true. what if its just bad luck, a jinx, which haunted him and left him high and dry misunderstood and all alone for most of his life.
