“I had my first real romance with a guy named Riccardo. I was with him eleven years “, begins the Turin actor on TV. The story was lived in the shadows, with a thousand difficulties. “Fourteen years ago I broke the mold and took a home away from everyone. Riccardo and I lived together, but it was a false situation. When friends came to dinner, then at the end of the evening he pretended to leave and then came back. When we went out or went on vacation we were always in a group “he adds.
He decided to come out only now, at 48, explains why: “I was on set so long that I ended up wearing a character. If you have a certain sexual orientation, you cannot do this job, the system requires it to you and therefore you have to pretend you have another one. At first I took it as a game, then playing I found myself inside a machine that set me up and the game was not so much fun anymore. But today I took off the mask, indeed the diving suit. Finally for three and a half years now, by being away from the set, I have had the opportunity to stay inside my skin. I realized that I was no longer well and therefore I needed to get out of it ”.

Garko has decided to come out in the open GF Vip: “I saw Adua (Del Vesco, ed.) in trouble and it bothered me if I had to keep up a play to protect me ”. He thus revealed his secret which, however, for his family it was never such: “My parents and my sisters have never judged me for my choices, indeed they have always protected and covered me. Before starting this job, I always lived my sexuality well, at home they always knew it. Then I was convinced that if I declared my orientation I would no longer work. Also, I was afraid that the public might feel fooled, but the first to be fooled was me ”.
Gabriel then clarifies about his past and talks about Eva grimaldi: “Eva and I lived eight years together. We were a couple, maybe all that was missing was sex between us. We helped and supported each other. I loved her so much, but not as people could imagine and probably, as a person, I could really marry her ”.
