[2019年9月成濑]√。成濑这部肯定是跟杜邦的[杂耍班]在对话，甚至用到了一些典型印象主义电影的手法，尤其是第二天的马戏团表演（以及那个叠印）。不过没有杜邦走得那么远就是了。标志性的Tracking定场镜头和双人对话的高超调度技巧。

成瀨第一部有聲片。對一部一小時出頭的片子來說，人物確實太多。但每個細節都有話說，即便是喜劇片段也沒有脫出故事太遠。推拉鏡頭一如既往非常美。【成瀨選的這個男主角太到位了。

豆瓣的影片信息不够完整以致很多豆友误以为本片是成濑的第一部有声片（已更新信息待审核）。成濑加入PCL后在1935年拍摄五部影片，最早的是3月1日上映的《浅草三姐妹》，也即成濑的第一部有声片。而本片系10月1日上映，是成濑当年拍摄的第四部影片。以《愿妻如蔷薇》为早期巅峰的话，本片可视为成濑中期作品的开端。结尾徐徐拉远的镜头，牵引出成濑中后期人生就是无尽旅程的主题。
