　　钢琴家比尔-艾文斯并不像一般乐手成名于一些特殊的音乐活动或大型表演。他的诗意陈述与谦逊自若的作为，是慢慢被乐界和乐迷认同的。当他于1980年因心脏病去世时，被公认是影响往后发展最深的一位JAZZ钢琴家。

爵士（即兴）=不假思索、临场而就的创作过程，而不是一种风格，如果肖/巴/莫等人在那个时刻即兴创作，就是在演奏爵士… by Evans（ps：伊文思还教给我要一个字一个字的读书，不要一目十行泛泛而过…）

Jazz is more of a revival in a different form of what went on in classical music before, the improvisation tradition. Jazz is more of a certain creative process of spontaneity than a style. The most dangerous thing about teaching jazz is that you begin to teach style. You must try to teach principles which are separate from style.
