Never Say You Know Love

Dear, Never Say You Know Love

With a dear sister, I went to Movie 12 to watch Titanic 3D today. I hardly have any memory on the original movie, but I know this time I gonna say:
Damn! I love it!
I cried my eyes off for many scenes, for many words. Needless to say the famous script “You jump, I jump”, when Rose and Jack climbed to the stern in that dangerous situation, Rose said to Jack “Here’s where we first met.” That moment warmed my heart. As well as everyone’s response to the disaster: When the surges covered the deck, the captain went back to the master's cabin sighing for her first sail; the designer of Titanic stayed alone before a clock trying to stop the time; an old couple held each other tight on the bed treasuring the last few minutes; the string quartet came back to go on playing “Nearer, My God to Thee”….
I stayed in the theatre until the last minute when the staff asked us to leave. During the last song, I kept thinking, thinking about love. The love is not limited to the relationship between men and women; but what the true love is.
How can Rose dare to do such things to her lover? She’s such a noble born and noble bred “indoor girl” (as Jack said to her). Is that the so-called power of love? --the power that makes you fling caution to the winds and even sacrifice your life for the one? It’s an amazing miracle! I just cannot understand it.
However, I see self-sacrifice and self-denial in the true love. I am sure that the brave and nice feeling is from God. He loves us people so much that sacrificed His own son, dead for us, for our sins. He is right the example of true love.
Now I feel overwhelmed to love and to be loved. How I cannot treasure such love that God gives us as gift for nothing! But can I also sacrifice myself to love? To give up anything I like, to leave my relatives, or even to lose my life? For those who say “I need love”, really think about how you can love others.
Are you ready to love?
Although Titanic has sunk, the story of the ship is an unsinkable dream.
Although it was a tragedy in history, it is like a dropped pebble in the ocean that makes hundreds of ripples spreading outward and soothing all the hearts.
To love, to make each day a count, to live meaningfully.
Thanks to God. He gives us love and lets us feel it.
I will definitely recommend my friends to watch this movie, as well as my child in the future.
