"people do things"

I need to write something for Mad Men. But not now.
I'm on S4E07. Don sat there, looked at Peggy for a while and then suddenly burst into tears like a kid. He said " a very important one was just gone. The only people in the world knew me". Peggy tenderly patted on his back and said "it's not true."
Wasn't it a metaphor? Peggy companied with Don when Anna visited in Don's dream before she went to the better place. She passed on her torch to Peggy, to understand , share and accept Don's soul and heart, no matter how sparkling, fragile, dark and decadent they are.
I wonder Don will eventually date Dr Faye or Peggy. Peggy is a female body instilled Don's soul. They are explorers in the world that never settle for what they've already had. They are happily unhappy. Like any explorer, they easily get confused and lost. While Peggy is the one that can share Don's path, Dr Faye looks like the one who can guide Don's path. She's never confused.
There was an interesting talk on Ted. The speaker talked about the love and cheat. She didn't have many points in her speech. However the idea that people are driven by sexual desire, romance and attachment to someone in the long term is inspiring to understand the elements of love. And in different stage of life, people might need different type of "love".In Don's case, I guess he's not clear what he's looking for from love. He denied his past and betrayed himself. He subconsciously looked for someone knew him but he even don't know himself. To some extent, he closed his heart because he hated himself. That's why he always trapped in the easiest form of love, the very physical form.
"People do things." Don said. And it's just human nature to pursue what they want despite the society disciplines, or, as we said, morality. I agree. Having said that, it doesn't mean I recognize Don's confusing life, or many Dons' in the world. My point is that they are not bad people. They are just pathetic lost kids.
The content of Mad Men is far beyond the above. All the people in the show have their own characters. They are just as dramatic and subtle as the people in the real life. That's why I said I'm not writing something for the show now though I've written this long bullshit... :p
It takes time. Not now.
