从开头的女主人扯床单开始，到中间的自行车被偷，再到最后偷自行车被抓。
它反映的只是平平淡淡的现实，现实就是这样，没有那么多奇迹发生，也没有那么多巧合和偶然。这恰恰就是新现实主义电影，是生活的再现。而正因为这是生活，才更添加了悲剧色彩。
演员好像都是从街边随便找的，男主也确实是个失业的人，演的真的很好。
儿子这个设计在电影中真的是不可或缺，他让电影的内涵丰富了很多很多，他们是一对非常和谐的父子，从擦自行车那里就能看出来，自行车对儿子来说也非常重要。他们一直在不懈的寻找，但是当生活的磨难达到了一个顶峰的时候，父亲的道德底线崩塌了。他变成了自己最讨厌的人，为了生活去偷别人的自行车。影片最后的镜头很意味深长，儿子握住了父亲的手，父亲这个时候成了一个弱者。道德上的弱者，在父亲被路人们打骂的时候，父亲全程一直盯着儿子看，他不愿意让儿子看到这一幕，他在试图维护他属于一个父亲最后的尊严。太悲哀也太无奈了，这是意大利新现实主义的代表作，充满了对二战过后底层人民的关怀，感人而不煽情，故事很简单，却很打动我
