李霞卿藝名李旦旦，曾於電影《西廂記》中演出紅娘，並領銜主演史上第一部花木蘭歷史故事電影《木蘭從軍》，與胡蝶、阮玲玉等女星同被評為“七姐妹”。 1933年，李霞卿於瑞士日內瓦飛行學校破例以全優成績取得正式飛行執照，成為中國第一位合格女飛行员。1936年在上海龍華機場舉行空中表演，現場觀眾達15萬人。 1939年，她在美國無償演出電影《Disputed Passage》，將片酬捐獻給中國救濟基金。

这也太短了点儿，进展太快了= =虽然拍得还是挺美的。Mortal Storm的前一年，拍的抗日战争。此片中的人物设置倒也不失为一种避免whitewash的好办法...

比利时电影资料馆正好放映，看内容有和中国相关就去看了。其实是一个典型的美国爱情故事，女主角在中国长大因此认为自己是中国人，与男主相爱但受到男主导师阻挠，于是抗战之后从美国回到中国帮助人们。男主作为外科医生，也到了中国，为受伤的民众医治。一次空袭后男主也受伤，男主导师飞到中国为男主做了手术，恢复期女主也来到病床前，三人相见，大团圆结局。
