Very important topic and materials. Director clearly knows how to make fancy editing, which makes the documentary dreadful to watch, no idea why so many acting and empty clip was included. There has to be a better way to talk about this topic. Makes me wonder if this is about immigration, or about how director wants to show their techniques

威尼斯2024第20部。纪录片名导果然出手沉稳，把川普主导的边境zero- tolerance&separation娓娓道来，素材扎实、信息充沛、视角丰富。最终落点在这样的事情会发生因为人始终有运用cruelty去实现自己意图的意念，悲剧仍会再度上演。莫要仅把其当作矛头直指共和党的政治宣言，电影是政治的但不仅仅是政治的，还有良心。
