As World War II nears its end and the world closes in on the Germans, a failed community theater actor and small-town baker by the name of Hans finds himself being groomed to be Hitler’s decoy in death. In order to return to his wife and two young children, Hans holds only one option: to convince the Nazi party’s highestranking officials that he is in fact the Führer in the final hour, thereby forcing Hitler to play his own role in the staging of his suicide.
