He then travels to the French sector of the Western Front, where from 1914 the trains carried a new cargo of artillery shells, with the Edwardian tourists of 1913 replaced by soldiers facing the horrors of the trenches. This journey start in Amsterdam ,then take me south,via The Hague,to Belgium.I will witness the decadence of fin de siecle in Brussels,then visit Mons,where British troops first fought in 1914.Then the French front in line,finishing in Compiegne,where four years of warfare came to an end. 0 有用 0回应
