英国摇滚乐队Asking Alexandria为这部《布鲁克斯先生》专门写了一首歌“Hey There Mr. Brooks”，收在他们的第一张专辑“Stand up and Scream”中。2009年9月15日通过Sumerian唱片发行，由Joey Sturgis制作。该专辑在Billboard 200上排名第170，在Top Independent专辑上排名第29，在Top Heatseekers上排名第4。

布鲁克斯是影片中经常默念的“宁静祷文”，出自美国神学家莱因霍尔德-尼布尔（Reinhold Niebuhr）之手：
