馬龍白蘭度往嘴里塞棉花被惡搞就說明教父當年有多紅。不過這片跟80年代粗製濫造的港片有啥區別，更種硬笑點，特別蠢非常笨，其中針對膚色和地位開的玩笑太政治不正確，令探長笨得來一點也不可愛。難得的是可以看到70年代的香港，真漂亮。

"I can walk! " 这个梗肯定是爱德华兹故意为之，剧情为笑料服务（如果还有笑点的话），虽然片子本身故事很糟糕，但是世界知名大侦探克鲁索最佳人选依旧只有塞拉斯。
