Giuseppe Conlon was the father of Gerry Conlon who was wrongly imprisoned for the IRA Guildford pub bombing in England in 1974, died in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The exonerations came late, only in 1991 for Gerry Conlon's father, Guiseppe, who had been wrongly convicted along with six other relatives for allegedly supplying the bombs used by the Guildford Four.
Gerard "Gerry" Conlon was an Irish man known for being one of the Guildford Four who spent 15 years in prison after being wrongly convicted of being a Provisional IRA bomber.
