I thought my normal Saturday will be as normal as usual, but actually, thanks to my apartment without internet, I did something made my night a light time. I went out with the earphones in my ears, music going on and on around my ears, and my mood was moving along with the music, real movements going on with my mood and my body. I knew how I am going to spend my evening, so I went to the B’life book store to take a quick look of the latest best sellers, and plan to try my chance to find one hitting my heart, maybe just for a short moment. You know, luckily, it happened. I found one about the photography by Japanese. So I took it and went to the counter and asked for a new book. And the sweet girl pointed the direction where I can find the book. I followed her guidance and I did find the book. Just near the shelf, there was a lonely bench so I helped it with setting my nice butt and thigh on it. Oh! I forgot the most important part was that I asked the girl for the wifi password. So I sit down and started to surf on my ipad and my finger moved very smoothly on the screen. No doubt my eyes told my fingers to stop at the right place. I checked the latest episodeof Rappers of China. I watched the most difficult parts for those game players. I was satisfied with the show, and the video editor really did a great job to attract a laymen’s attention. And to be honest this show is real an eye opener for me. I found myself indulge in the slow hip-pop music by those Taiwanese. They sounded so lazy and smooth. And I made a good use of time in the book store, because I downloaded some movies in my wish list. So I happily went home with 2 or 3 movies in my ipad waiting for me to watch tonight.
I opened the door and I knew my nigh was going to start. I chose the irrational Man by Woody Allen whose movie is always a good one for amusement especially on weekend. Hurrah! The movie turned out to be a right choice. Can you imagine killing someone with the jazz as the background? There are no horrible scenes, no blood, nothing usual at all. Everything happened like a comedy, but actually it was a very philosophic. A person cannot get anything from a text book, and all the experience and knowledge are staying the real life. the whole movie was talking about a professor found his meaning of life by killing a horrible and incompetent judge by poisoning his juice, and the student who he was in relationship with turned out to be very smart and found out his murder. The professor knew the only way to keep this way of life was to stop the student to turn him in. So he planned to kill the girl but at the end he fell out to the elevator well which was prepare for the student. The student was terrified by what the professor was trying to do. So ironically that he killed himself. Well! You know, the music was still on and on even the student was thinking about the very serious life lesson from this terrible experience. Thinking big things but leave the music on.
That’s the philosophy of Woody Allen. So cute idea! To make a serious movie in a comedy way is brilliant! And it is true that life is serious but we can learn to play with it and have fun. The philosophy can teach in a funny way. Why not!
