Dangal (摔跤吧爸爸), the popular Indian movie, is a story about a girl from a small village became an international wrestling golden medal winner under her father's coaching who himself was a wrestler but gave up to find a job to support his family. The father wanted to fulfill his dream by his daughters who he believed have wrestling in blood. He trained them from young after he found that they thrashed boys at school. The plot is up and down, at first they were reluctant to get training. When they attended a very young girl's wedding and realized Indian girls' inferiority and destiny of raising children, the sisters became training hard. They got state championship, national championship, and international championship for India for the first time.
What attracted me most is the development of father and daughters relationships, and the journey of heart as an professional athlete. "Hold firmly to your dreams". "Papa can't save you every time. You have to fight on yourself. "This is A story about dream, passion, hard efforts, and accomplishment. It's really a good movie.
