"Hao", as a second generation immigrant "she was such a smart girl, she picked up English right away", but she is still, a typical Asian woman.
"Hao". She would be reluctant to open herself up, but once she does, she loves deeply.
"Huai". She could not move on from an ex, though she has lost faith in him long time ago, yet, up to she finds a new place to reside her heart.
"Hao". She would only tell her sad story in her mother tongue, maybe she needs to let it out in some way. He somehow uses his only two vocabulary of Chinese, rated her every sentence "good" or "bad", "Hao" or "Huai".
"Hao". He sees through her past, and picks up a fight with the guy who ruined her life yet acts like a protective brother with that condescending attitude. Man I want to yell at him on behalf of all my girl friends in the world "F*k You!" He has moved on with his life seven years ago, and from that moment on, SO HAS SHE.
"Huai"? Their return bus has to stop for a while because Seattle is foggy again. He says that they should meet up here when she's out. Quando quando quando?
"Huai"! She is here. Where is he? It might not completely be his fault that he can't make it, but I feel sorry. I love happy ending. I'm still expecting it to be one. Will it be?
Hanging with my dearest roomie at home, cutting fruits into pieces, peeling off litchi for the other, making juices, watching a movie. Hair is messy and face is oily, so what? Best way to spend a weekend in SH :)
