简单梳理了一遍情节，看到许多可爱的细节又不免会心一笑。想成为Mary Gath，her integrity is never under threat at the crucial moments; 也想成为Dodo，her deep belief in what is perfectly good, her precious overtrust and so confident of others to preserve their integrity and respond to her good will.去年第一遍读书，读到Mrs Bulstrode的那句“look at me, Nicholas”不禁掩面哭泣，书里的每个人都独立存在又在某刻被勾联。这次看被Rosamond和Lydgate的婚姻触目惊心，会觉得L和Dodo有相似的地方，对学问与生活都抱有幻想，always strive to achieve a high mode of life，但Lydgate更关心自己的honorable ambition被伤害。二人其中还有许多我不能明白的地方，最近想重读一遍《野草在歌唱》。
