在重重困难和时间流逝面前，玛莎的死因已经成了解不开的谜题，但她在平权道路上的“生命”其实仍然继续着，甚至永远不会死亡。片中提到了边缘群体内部的歧视现象，而且我才晓得A约B出去，但之后A发现B的跨性别身份，这时候如果A攻击了B，但A仍可能会被从轻发落，因为A的行为叫做“同性恋恐慌防卫”。
