the film is seemingly a forgotten piece,even back in 1987 when it was released in America,only 35 theatres were willing to take the film considering its depressing content,which concerning suicide.I've seen it many times,both Anne Bancroft and Sissy Spacek gave a superb performance.Hope the film will attract more attention in the future.
