If it only wants to tell a love story, then the both sides of the love are responsible for the tragedy, especially Michael even twenty years later for the taken back hand. So did Hanna the ignorance of the love , though she even value it in prison after the sentence. It’s a not bad story, because it has the function to teach, teach one who never open his heart to people he loves. Love is to say out.
If it only wants to tell a legal story about justice, or even about the massacre Nazi did to Jewish in German , then it seems to has nothing to do with love, it’s a story about shame and the inferior about civilizing and educating as a citizen . It has something with human. Woman who is ashamed of her illiteracy and her self pride puts herself into prison for unmatched crime. In prison she learns to spell, to read and even how to say out her miss and care. She accepted the punishment for two reasons including her regret for the victims.
Story is good with both sides of that, if not that bad.
Anyway I want to quote the actor's lines below , I think it’s so touching and moving.

I'm not frightened. I'm not frightened of anything. The more I suffer, the more I love. Danger will only increase my love, will sharpen it, will give it spice. I will be the only angel you need. You will leave life even more beautiful than you entered it. Heaven will take you back and look at you and say: "Only one thing can make a soul complete and that thing is love."

维系社会的不是道德，而是法律。问题往往不是对错的问题，而是是否符合法律的问题。而且所根据的不是我们的法律，而是根据当时政府的法律。
设想如果在法庭上，被告极力掩饰自己的罪行，法庭也没有支持被告犯罪的证明，如果有人可以为其罪行作证，向法庭公诸于众是道德义务；那么，如果证人可证明的是对被告有利的证据，那么公诸于众是道德义务吗？是义务吗？但是在这部案件中，被告自己决心保密，不让大家知道真相，那么这时拥有对被告有利证据的人是否应该公布真相？
证人没有作证，因此被告因为撒谎受到了惩罚，法庭就此判决，但是这是真相吗？是正义吗？justice?
对于犯下的错（德国纳粹屠杀犹太人），我们（当事人、经历人）怎么想并不重要，重要是我们的具体行动，如果你们这一代人再不从我们身上吸取教训，那一切（学习法律以及行动）还有什么意义？
