Sofar, it's my forth film of him.. before finish Muriel I prefer to drop these lines in case the wind gone quick.
I got the feeling It will work out if one day I collect these 4 again to rewatch at a windy pale day.
It's the inner structure or more precisely, how he has been building the way to narrate the Memory, through his unique obsession of architecture space.
Also, the editing of two scenes. 2nd scene jump out abruptly when the corresponding Dialogue of 1st scene still sounding. It sets the profound human talk in vain.
Both Hiro and Muriel combine part of 'War'. Most time, when western filmakers edit the Eastern war, it makes me puke. Yet, Resnais had processed that in an exclusive personal world without that attempt of profound expression. Even the fucking grand war, as human consider. Finally, we are still pathetic being stumbling in our own lonely muddy hole. This, touches me.
I may would like to dive a bit futther in his isolated world..
