A drab pessimist's take on Holocaust that could have been more profound, more plausible, and graced with more nuanced acting. The plot is somewhat contrived, and the stream of events, building to an inevitable climax, is somewhat too logical.
Admittedly I saw this film some 7 or 8 years ago, so it may deserve a second chance if I could find the DVD. I hope.
